{"id":987,"date":"2021-10-30T02:03:47","date_gmt":"2021-10-29T17:03:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mio-mods.com\/en\/?p=987"},"modified":"2023-12-15T11:24:28","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T11:24:28","slug":"instruction-heianbukyu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mio-mods.com\/en\/instruction-heianbukyu\/","title":{"rendered":"Instruction Manual of Heian Bukyu"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Concept<\/h3>\n<p>Located in Nijo, Kyoto, the traditional craft of \u2018Heianbukyu\u2019 pursues the delicate artistry of Kyoto armor.<\/p>\n<p>In Japan, there is a holiday called &#8220;Children&#8217;s Day&#8221; in May, primarily celebrated for boys (there is a separate day in March for girls). Even today, many families decorate with &#8220;kabuto&#8221; helmets as part of the celebrations. I worked on the design of an instructional manual enclosed with these helmets.<\/p>\n<p>Respecting the traditions of Japan, I aimed for a noble impression using shades of purple and soft beige. The design incorporates photographs to enhance visibility and readability. This consideration is especially important since about half of the purchasers of these &#8220;kabuto&#8221; helmets are elderly individuals buying them as gifts for their grandchildren.
