They said it was Aesthetics.
Adults said mods culture was folly.
Everyone says it is new life style.
There were youths who used to be called “MODS”.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The theme of the book is \u201cLooking at the MODS culture and available opportunities for young people.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This book\u00a0is composed of\u00a03 sections \u201c1955-1964 Original Mods culture\u201d, \u201c19 Neo Mods culture\u201d and \u201cMods culture in present time\u201d with\u00a0illustrations, photographs\u00a0and text pages.<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u201cyoung\u00a0generation\u201d is a word which is used in a negative way in any countries and any era.
But\u00a0a\u00a0culture\u00a0revolution broke out\u00a0by young\u00a0generation\u00a0in the\u00a060\u2019s in London.
It was\u00a0called \u201cSwinging London\u201d. The culture revolution proved that young people\u00a0can change the world\u00a0without weapons, and it effected the youth all over the world.<\/p>\r\n

Normal and abnormal, winners and losers\u2026 even now common sense makes young people feel upset.
I made this book to show that perhaps Mods’s and the young generation’s life style in the 60’s can be a hint to youth of today.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I wrote about mods and what was happened to\u00a0young\u00a0generations\u00a0in London and all over the world\u00a0in each year.<\/p>\r\n

1 year is one picture\u00a0page as well as a\u00a0text page.
On the left side of the text page, I\u00a0drew someone’s\u00a0room. I didn’t\u00a0draw any characters but the objects\u00a0in the room change year by year.<\/p>\r\n

I wanted people to imagine\u00a0“a mod” living\u00a0in the\u00a0room and how his personal belongings and clothes\u00a0changed over the years as a result of the\u00a0changing youth culture at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

These pictures are for the chronological table of 1950 to 1990.<\/p>\r\n

At the end of the book I put the chronological table to show how the youth culture changed throughout this period.<\/p>\r\n

THE END RESULT<\/h3>\r\n

The book is 300 x 355 (mm), 76 pages.<\/p>\r\n

GRADUATION ART WORK EXHIBITION<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

The book along with illustrations from it were exhibited at “Graduation ArtWork Exhibition of SEIAN University Of Art and Design” in Kyoto, Japan.<\/p>\r\n

I won an award for this work.<\/p>\r\n
